We are a group of people who are passionate about making a lasting difference in our world, by bringing hope, truth, and life to vulnerable people and situations of injustice, both locally in New Zealand and internationally.
We partner with other organisations to act with compassion and justice, pioneer new initiatives as we see gaps, and endeavour to inspire, train, empower, and equip others to make a difference in the world around them too.
Each of us brings something to the table when it comes to fighting injustice with compassion.
How would you like to join us?
Ahi Toitoi Manawa is an initiative of Ignite 6:8 here in Tauranga, New Zealand to support vulnerable, local children and their families.
We facilitate events and holiday camps for school-aged children in foster care and work to create support and community for caregivers.
Our mission is to help children learn more about God’s love in an environment that encourages curiosity, bravery, kindness, and growth. Our vision is to see children know God’s love and restore relationships.

Justice Prayer is a time to learn how to intercede effectively for different justice issues. We learn about different issues and the root causes that allow these injustices to exist in our world. Then we search out God’s truth to pray into these situations.
We also lead Prayer Walks in various places around our city, to target the injustices we see here locally. See our Facebook page to come and join us for either of these.
Twice a year we run a Transformational Development Seminar in Tauranga. Complete transformation comes when we address not only material needs, but also spiritual poverty through partnering with the Holy Spirit and releasing truth to the individual, family, community, and nation.
This seminar will look at God’s heart for the vulnerable and how we can respond with strategies aligned to His original design to bring about restoration. We will also explore the vital role of the Church in the process of community transformation and give practical tools for those extending biblical compassion to the vulnerable in their communities. We are actively involved in our city of Tauranga, NZ, partnering with like-minded organizations and ministries to bring hope, truth, and life to those in our city.
We coordinate for local YWAM bases and outreach teams who wish to serve and minister in our city.

Justice Nights are an awesome way to come and learn something new, bring your friends, and spend time with like-minded people in order to begin to understand areas of injustice that may or may not be familiar with you - or that you are personally passionate about already.
It's a night for awareness, discussion, and networking. This night is open to all those interested, living in the Tauranga, NZ community. Justice Nights usually happen once every quarter (see details on JN page) or our Facebook page.
We run a Justice and Compassion DTS (see the DTS page for details) for anyone who wants to pursue God and know His heart.
We study discipleship themes and how we, as His sons and daughters, can practically respond to His heart for justice.
In the Justice and Compassion DTS, we focus on all kinds of injustice. We believe it can be an excellent launching pad for you to join what God may have next for you! The DTS is about 5 months long and has 3-months in the classroom, and then 2 months of hands-on outreach in another nation.
We are also available to speak at DTSs, conferences, churches, Bible Studies, youth groups, children's church, community groups, schools, etc.
We also provide consulting for organizations here in NZ or internationally who are working with the vulnerable and community transformation.
For more information, or to request us to speak, please use the contact form provided in the "Contact us" section.
